Every little #shopindie sale helps

David Knight • 7 July 2021
We’re in testing times and they say every little helps. . . so we’re delighted that three more UK creatives have made it to our #UKGiftHourPower sellers list.
Last weekend’s special #UKIndieDay showcases on Twitter – in collaboration with UK Independents' Day and Maybe* – brought sales for:
  • Wiltshire wildlife and pet artist Heather's Cottage Gifts with one of her animal necklaces, a frog pendant in bronze leaf style (top row, left) and
  • Welsh recycled fabric queen Molle Collection with her cute Schnauzer dog garland made from repurposed materials (top row, centre).
They followed in the paw prints of Doggy Bakes Brum who achieved a #UKGiftHour #UKGiftAM sale a couple of weekends ago with fresh-baked doggy treats like the peanut and apple bonos pictured (top row right).

The number of indies and creatives who have achieved sales during or as a result of #UKGiftHour #UKGiftAM now stands at 176.
There were also sales last weekend for (bottom row, l to r)
  • Hand-painted vase by Yorkshire artist and designer i see collections
  • Russian doll thimbles, hand-painted by Matryoshka artists, from Derbyshire craft kit specialists Krasnaya Crafts
  • Silver tone angel earrings by County Durham jewellery and card maker DawnyDTDesigns
We're not *all* about sales - it just seems to be one of the things that happens when we’re around! We're having another get-together this Saturday and Sunday from 9am-midday. Join us for feelgood support and chat. And who knows, maybe a sale or two. . .
