#shopindie gift ideas windfall

With online sales the way they are, we really didn’t expect to be #shopindie power sharing again quite so soon. But there was something of a #UKGiftHourPower buying bonanza on #UKGiftHour #UKGiftAM last weekend.
Three new creatives joined the UKGiftHourPower sellers list with sales during the Twitter #giftideas showcase. They were (centre row, left to right)
  • Nottingham creative MumblebeeHandmade from her range of handmade cards, notebooks and notepads
  • Epping Forest jewellery designer Cristina's Attic whose buyer said she’d been “brightened up” by her sterling silver pieces
  • Tie-dye company TalaClothingCompany who recorded their first UKGiftHour sale with this ‘Orange Surprise’ ladies T-shirt
Among others who have already achieved UKGiftHourPower status, there were further multiple sales for (top row, left to right)
  • Hertfordshire eco candle creators SimplySona who reported their ‘best sales weekend for a while’ with demand for their wax melts, a gift set and a large candle
  • Liverpool crafter GermanderCC who rang up three sales of her dino aprons and cushion covers
  • Yorkshire jewellery designer TwiggyPeasticks who added another sale to four she attracted the previous weekend – among them these blue butterfly earrings 
To complete the weekend windfall (bottom row, left to right)
  • Isle of Wight recycler and bag designer SammDesignsShop celebrated a purchase of her eco-friendly laundering bag with reusable face pads/scrubbies as well as one of her larger girly bags
  • Skincare champion NaturaEmporium chalked up a sale from her vegan range of outdoor essentials – pictured is her ‘bug off’ insect repellent bar – and declared: “#UKGiftAM, has always been my best way of getting sales and finding new businesses to interact with”
  • County Durham jewellery and card maker DawnyDTDesigns came away smiling thanks to a sale of her resin rainbow sunflower silver plated earrings
